This was done plein air a few weeks ago from my porch overlooking Barnegat Bay. The bay is very peaceful this time of year. The baywater is very clean and clear and one can see the bottom.  After the last of the Brant migrate north, there will be watercraft of every kind.

Exploring the back roads of the Hopewell valley last fall I was drawn to this scene.  I didn't remember exactly where I was but somehow I located it with the assistance of Google Earth!
