This was done plein air a few weeks ago from my porch overlooking Barnegat Bay. The bay is very peaceful this time of year. The baywater is very clean and clear and one can see the bottom.  After the last of the Brant migrate north, there will be watercraft of every kind.

I've just returned from a ten day vacation in southern California visiting
family and friends from San Diego to LA.  Especially liked Laguna Beach
the landscape is amazing.  I didn't paint when I was there but there
was a paintable scene around every corner.  Took lots of photos for
for future painting...

This was done from a photo I took last fall of a marina in Harvey Cedars
on Long Beach Island.
