Another of my studies of the amazing clouds over Oahu, Hawaii.  I witnessed some amazing sunrises due to the time change the first few days we were there.  I saw a few people who must have been from the East Coast wandering around the hotel before the sun came up.

I haven't posted in quite some time! This was a small cloud study I did from our trip last winter to the north shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu.  The clouds, sunrises and sunsets were so inspirational.

I've been working on series of paintings of people on the beach.  Working off of photographs that I have taken over the last several years.  I have lost two cameras in the past six months with the cards in them.  Luckily, I downloaded some into my computer  so I didn't lose all the photos taken since last summer.

My husband's Sandpiper catboat Lil Lulu floating in Barnegat Bay last summer.  Lil Lulu is the name the original owner gave to her.
Not sure what this summer will bring regarding boating on some parts of the bay.   The bay is going to be dredged for debris.

After a long absence from posting, I'm posting this lemon still life.  I hope to be posting on a regular basis my small daily paintings as well as some larger works.

"Surf Casting"

This is being auctioned through the Daily Paintworks Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser.  Proceeds from the sale of my paintings listed in the fundraiser auction are being donated to the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company, Long Beach Island, NJ.  Since the storm began the firehouse has been providing services and hot meals to an army of workers and volunteers around the clock.

This was done plein air a few weeks ago from my porch overlooking Barnegat Bay. The bay is very peaceful this time of year. The baywater is very clean and clear and one can see the bottom.  After the last of the Brant migrate north, there will be watercraft of every kind.
