"Jersey Peaches"

6"x6" Oil on Canvas Panel
Nearing the end of the season, I just had to capture
these peaches.  A nice diversion from plein air and
landscape paintings.  I haven't done much still life this
summer.

  2. These look just marvellous. Peaches and summer just go together do they not. I especially love the white fleshed ones. A great painting.

  4. Hi, Lori! I want to take a bit out of these peaches, they are so fresh and juicy looking. I don't like to see the end of the best fruit season of the year, I'll tell you.

Thanks so much for your visit to my blog, and for leaving such nice words!

  7. Very nice! I think it's important to attempt different types of subjects and different techniques. It helps one grow! Your peaches are wonderful. I'd love them hanging in my kitchen. So soft and warm...

  8. Thank you Janet, Hilda and Katherine! I did not paint still life for a few months so I felt that I approached it with a fresh perspective.
