The task was to paint this vintage Zippo cigarette lighter
using only three colors, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue and
titanium white.  This was a fun challenge for me!

"Cherries from Chile"

Cherries are my favorite fruit. They remind me of the beginning of summer
and the anticipation of  enjoying the long days at the beach.
The local market had them just before Christmas.
So we have been enjoying this mid-winter treat from Chile and
contemplating the warm weather to come!
